Almana Sound is one of the fastest rubber sheets that STIGA has ever produced. It is very bouncy and gives a tremendous catapult effect. It is excellent for topspinning looping, and counterlooping. Even though the top sheet is not tacky, it produces more spin than other very spinny world-class rubbers. Almana Sound is just like regular Almana, but has a softer sponge.

What is STIGA's NC technology?

NC stands for "Nano Composite". This process reduces the molecular clumps to the nano scale (50-100 nanometers) and makes the natural and synthetic rubber components of the sponge bind more strongly. The nano-composite sponge has very small air bubbles in the walls of the larger air bubbles that form the cellular structure of the sponge. The result is a sponge that is amazingly springy despite being very soft.
